General

Is Valoris Aerial Systems FAA certified?

Yes. All our pilots hold current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, and every operation is LAANC-authorized where required by controlled airspace.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry $2 million in commercial drone liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request for any engagement — many HOAs, commercial property managers, and government clients require this.

What does "FAA Part 107" mean?

FAA Part 107 is the Small Unmanned Aircraft Rule governing commercial drone operations in the United States. Every pilot operating a drone for compensation must hold a current Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. It's the industry-standard credential for professional drone operations.

Service Area & Scheduling

Where do you operate?

Our primary operating zone is Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties — where we offer rapid response and no travel fees. We also mobilize to any of Florida's 67 counties for statewide work and handle national and international deployments for larger projects. See our Coverage page for details.

How quickly can you schedule a flight?

In our primary tri-county zone, we can often schedule same-day or next-day flights subject to weather and airspace. Outside the primary zone, typical lead time is 24 to 72 hours. For post-storm emergency documentation, we deploy as soon as local airspace restrictions lift.

Do you charge travel fees?

No travel fees in our primary zone (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach). For other Florida counties, travel is quoted transparently upfront based on distance. National and international deployments carry custom travel pricing.

Pricing & Deliverables

How much do your services cost?

Pricing depends on service type, property size, deliverable requirements, and location. Real estate packages typically start in the low hundreds. Surveying and security engagements are quoted based on scope. Storm documentation carries a flat per-property fee. Contact us for a custom quote — we respond within one business day.

How long until I receive my deliverables?

Real estate photography and video packages are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Surveying and mapping deliverables require 3 to 7 days depending on scope. Storm documentation reports are delivered within 24 hours of the flight.

What file formats do you deliver?

Photography is delivered in high-resolution JPEG (and RAW on request). Video in MP4 H.264 at 4K. Surveying outputs include orthomosaic TIFFs, point clouds (LAS/LAZ), DXF, SHP, and 3D models in common formats. We can accommodate specific format requests for integration with your existing workflow.

Storm Documentation

What is pre-storm baseline documentation?

A professional drone inspection performed before a hurricane or named storm threatens your area. It creates an irrefutable GPS-tagged, time-stamped record of your property's condition — eliminating an insurance company's ability to claim post-storm damage is pre-existing.

When should I schedule a pre-storm inspection?

We recommend annual baseline inspections between April and late May, before Florida's June 1 hurricane season begins. Availability tightens dramatically once a named storm enters the Atlantic, so booking early ensures you get the service window you need.

Will insurance accept drone documentation?

Yes. Major Florida insurers and FEMA accept professional drone documentation with GPS metadata and timestamps. Our deliverables are specifically formatted for claims use. That said, we cannot guarantee claim outcomes — insurance settlements depend on many factors beyond documentation alone. We strongly recommend working with a licensed public adjuster for complex claims.

How fast can you deploy after a storm?

We deploy as soon as local airspace restrictions lift. Typically that means within 6 to 12 hours after a storm passes, depending on FAA TFRs and local conditions. Priority goes to clients with existing pre-storm baseline agreements.

Privacy & Legal

Is drone photography legal over private property?

Yes, with appropriate permissions. We secure property owner consent for all flights, operate within FAA-authorized airspace, and follow Florida state privacy laws governing drone operations. We never conduct flights over private property without proper authorization.

What happens to my footage and data?

Client footage and data belong to the client. We retain copies solely for our project records (and the client's benefit in case re-delivery is needed). We never sell, share, or use client footage for marketing without explicit written permission. See our Privacy Policy for details.
